Store Credit to Gift Card?

Hi!

Is there any way that Sephora store credit can be used to purchase a gift card that can be used to pay for an online order? I returned an online purchase of mine to Sephora a few months ago, and since I’d paid via PayPal the associate told me she could only return it to a store credit card (didn’t even offer the gift card option that I now know was also an possibility). I’d told her it was fine, because I figured the money being returned from my online purchase surely could be used you know...online? But I guess that was an irrational and stupid assumption on my part. :))

Now I have an item that I want to buy using that store credit I’ve had sitting around, but the problem is that the item is only available online. 😞 If I were to go to the store or maybe even call them, do you think they’d be willing to give me a gift card in exchange for store credit or at the least switch my store create to online store credit at least? Because otherwise this whole store credit thing is just silly. 😕

Hi @Alinax I'm sorry for the confusion with your return. Store credits can not be used to purchase a gift card, so I recommend giving the store a call to see if there are any other options.
