Store Credit / Ordering to store

I received a store credit that I know can't be used online. However - the product I want isn't sold in any of my stores close. I'd have to drive like 2 hrs just to go and hope they have it. I asked associate if there was any way for them to order it or even having me buy a gift card with the store credit..they said no..I've had this store credit for months and can't use or even sell it so I can just get the product I need. 

Is there anything I can do?!

@mmariahmm I would try calling customer service and see what they can do for you. Just explain to them your situation.

Why can't you use it online? Unless it was returned to SiJCP then you should be able to

Nope. You can’t use store credit online. Only in store. It’s super ridiculous.

Really? That is absurd. It's basically the same as a gift card. Good to know!
