Stolen point

I just received an email claiming that I made a purchase at the Sephora store in The Groove in December 2023.

The point is that I live in Brazil and the last time I was in Los Angeles was in February 2023.

The person who made the purchase redeemed 500 points from my account.

I have already changed my account password; but I would like to know how I could protect my data, since the purchase was in a physical store and not online (my account was not hacked).

I suspect that the attendant saved my data because I made a purchase in that location.

Secondly, I would like to know if it is possible to get my points back, because it is absurd that this has happened.
