Some customers more important than others?

So I guess since Sephora sent out the wrong boxes I won't get either that I ordered. I think it's ridiculous it took 4 days to determine that and the rest of my order was processed several days ago. I ordered II because the I was sold out. I feel like their mistake sending people the wrong version is why I get to go without. are some customers more important than others? NOT HAPPY.
