Shipping expectations?

Hi there!

I know there are severe delays in shipping due to the Coronavirus pandemic, I am just wondering if Sephora is able to provide an estimate for how long it will take from the time the order was placed to the time the order will actually ship. I'm not looking for a guarantee, just an estimate since my orders were placed over a week ago and still no information updates.

Thank you for contacting Sephora regarding your recent order.
 
With extended store closures, and our Spring Savings promotion, we are processing a high volume of orders that is unfortunately resulting in long order processing delays.  The safety of our distribution center employees and our clients is our top priority, which means that responsible workforce safety precautions result in fewer people than usual processing orders at one time. 
 
We understand that you are anxious to receive an update on when your order will ship and definitely understand your concern. If you have received a shipping confirmation since you reached out to us, please disregard this message.
 
Due to the longer than normal delays, you may have be experiencing one or more of the below issues, please know that this is normal and will not impact your shipment:
 
- Long processing times with no updates - We apologize that you may not have heard from us in a while! We are working diligently to get all placed orders filled. If you placed an order, it will be shipped out and you will hear back from us with any updates when available.
 
- Pre-authorizations have dropped from your form of payment, looking like you received a refund from Sephora - This is not a refund, and you will still be charged once your order ships.
 
- Items in your order are now out of stock - The inventory was reserved when you placed your order, do not worry that it will not be included.
 
- You placed an order but it's not showing in your order history - This probably means you used our "Guest Checkout" feature. Please find your order confirmation email and verify the order number, it will still be shipped and any updates will be sent to the email you used at checkout.
 
For all orders, you can view the expected delivery date and track your order on Sephora.com and in the Sephora app.  Please allow a few additional days from the posted delivery date to allow for processing and carrier delays.  You will receive an email if the delivery date is updated, as well as email confirmation once your order ships.
 
We sincerely apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience while we work to get orders out as quickly and safely as possible.

I have an order I placed on the 8th that still says on its way and another one they had to resend bcus it didn’t come and that ones still in progress. I think it’s all just a bit crazy right now

I placed an order on April 21. It hasn’t shipped yet but the delivery date is May 1... I don’t see that happening! I haven’t received updated info either. I’ve placed 4 orders during the sale - the first one placed on the first day Rouge was open got here about a week ago. The last two have delivery dates near the end of May. Covid plus heavy traffic from the sale must be making it a nightmare to get shipments out.

Hi Brittany. Did you get an original estimation date when the order was placed? You should have received an estimation with your confirmation. I placed an order a few weeks ago and my estimation due to COVID was 2 weeks however I got it in 5 days!
