Shipping delays/lies

This is not a question but rather a statement. This company straight up lies to it's customers regarding shipping, why something hasn't shipped,the fact that is HASN'T actually shipped, and also fail often to give the sample products that are promised. 

I placed and order around the 4th of March and received an email saying my order would be here the 7th. The 8th I contacted someone. I was told that the "bad weather" was the problem. I live in Florida,they ship from Mississippi. Where's the bad weather? Then it changed to "one of your products "clinique take the day off eye makeup remover" contains alcohol so must be delivered ground shipping". Um first of all everything is shipped ground. The package I ordered the day before I ordered this one I ordered something that had alcohol in the ingredients but it arrived in 3 days via usps. But they claimed that FesEx was in possession of my current order when I spoke to FedEx and they said they did NOT have my package Sephora had only created the label. Funny enough after I told them I wanted to cancel and that I would dispute this on my card, the package was sent out within that hour. Huh. Sephora lies! They need to get it together because they are losing customers left and right! I've read through the complaints in the "community" and there's a lot of unhappy people. Businesses are closing all over because of the pandemic. Add poor customer service and..well.. you do the math. Sephora,shame on you! For your lies. For asking customer service to lie. For thinking throwing 100 points at someone is compensation for the lies and poor customer service. For people not receiving their packages. And shame on those cs representatives who go along with the lies. I have been lies to more in the last month by Sephora than I have in years. I'm done with you. I don't see how you can make all this right...

Thank you for this. Customer service routinely blames the USPS but my package is now over 30 days over due with no useful tracking information.  I've ordered from other businesses that ship via USPS from across the country in this time span and have already received all of their packages.

I agree with you 100%. Their shipping has been a hot mess lately. It’s making me rethink buying online from them at all. I placed a small order on Feb 26th. The first time I checked tracking, it said I’d receive it on March 4th. Nothing. So over the weekend I check the tracking again and it says March 8th. So on March 8th I check and it says I’ll receive it by end of day. Doesn’t come. Today I check and now there’s no delivery date, it’s just “on its way.” 

i remember we used to see ridiculous delays with shipping during Beauty Insider sales, then things improved, but for the last long while, the delays have been ridiculous. It’s not the holidays anymore, why is taking nearly 2 weeks to receive something? 

i think moving forward I will do more purchasing in person, or luxury brands that they carry, I’ll just buy straight from the manufacturer or from one of the luxury department stores since they almost never have shipping delays like this.
