Shipping Delay?

Hi all! 

I placed an order on Dec 19th and the Canada Post tracking says it has been delayed (which is totally fine I understand). It was last updated on January 3rd saying its in Richmond, BC and I'm on Vancouver Island so usually it takes about 3 days to get to me from there. Will I be notified if its lost? Or should I ask someone about the package?

Ill be super sad if something happened to my package because it had the Youth to the People superfood cleanser in it which is always sold out and I was finally able to snag it in the recent restock.
