Sephora points/dollars on a return

If I make a purchase using the $10 award and then return the item, are my points replaced like they are at Ulta?

Yeah, switching to ulta. This is a scam that they don’t ever give the points back once you spend them, but they still take the earned points back from your account when you return a purchase.

It feels like Sephora is really going out of its way to show customers they don’t care about us. My husband purchased the wrong item for me using the 500 points and then returned it on the spot. The associate couldn't be bothered to inform us of this idiotic policy. I didn’t even realize this happened until I was about to make a purchase with the points and they’re just gone. Went from rouge to now deciding not to give them another penny. Sorry about the rant, I’m just so tired of Sephora’s cheating ways. This would never happen at Ulta.

Yeah this seems unfair. I returned something the other day and the associate didn’t tell me I would also be forfeiting all these points.
