Sephora play points card

I made an in store purchase the other day and gave the cashier my 50 point card that came in my Sephora play box. I checked my points and it did not apply. I sent an email asking for help a few days ago and I have not received a reply. Is everything ok with Sephora? I have had a few problems with either a shipment, unauthorized charges and now this. I love Sephora and find it so much fun. I wouldn’t stop shopping here because nothing is perfect but I am hoping things will get better.
