Sephora keeps cancelling my orders

I ordered from Sephora before Christmas and also at the beginning of January. Both orders were canceled with an "Unsuccessful Authorization"  error without any explanation. I did order what I needed from another store but it is pretty frustrating dealing with this customer experience. My friend also ordered for me gift box from Sephora and also order was cancelled for the same reason. Is there any reason why Sephora just chose to lose customers by cancelling their orders?

I’ve been having this issue going on intermittently but repeatedly every year for 3 years now. Especially during sales.

I always have to call support. They submit a ticket to tech to fix it but I have to wait few days for that. Then 1 order goes through then everything else gets cancelled.

I am very frustrated as this is my Rouge account and I feel frustrated to the point I’ll probably have to drop Sephora now

I am having the same issue. I spoke to a customer service representative and thought I was being scammed because she clearly doesn’t know what she is doing. She was like “uhhhh yeah I guess like wait on a email. I’m not sure” email never sent. Order was cancelled again. This is ridiculous & I’d love to expose how horrible Sephora is in customer care and how they lack informing their customers of an issues. Instead they just cancel the order and leave us clueless

I have the same problem.  Three orders cancelled with no reasonable explanation in a week.  I tried two separate payment methods, both show the amounts posted (and the pending refund) so clearly authorization was not actually the problem.

This seems to be a common problem judging by the amount of people talking about here and Reddit.  Hopefully they can sort themselves out so we don't have to look for a new realtor because I do like Sephora!
