Sephora keeps canceling my orders

Sephora began canceling my online orders in January 2024. 

It has been sent to Client Services for research multiple times, and each time I get the same reply -

 

We apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with your recent cancelled order. After researching the issue further, it seems that we can confirm your order was cancelled because we were unable to verify your payment information.”

 

I have tried using different credit cards and it never works. I even got a Sephora credit card, and it only worked one time. After that, back to the same error / cancelation. 

I was able to get an order pushed through by having a rep put a note in the comments and submit the order for me. When I tried to have the same note added to other orders, they all still got canceled. 

I am beyond frustrated, and am beginning to think this is hopeless, and I just need to buy from somewhere else. 

Has anyone else had this issue and was able to get it resolved?  If so, please help. Thank you!

Yes! I have had the same order placed twice and twice it was canceled today! I think I’m gonna close my credit card and shop elsewhere.
