Sephora in jcp gift card

1. I see other questions about the sephora in jcp gift card but no one seems to answer other than just to say use it on jcp. My issue with that (bc I have one), is that it's for Sephora not jcp so why would I want to use it there? I don't think that's fair what they did about these gift cards. People should be able to use them in sephora. That's what was intended when the person bought it obviously. I have a real problem with that. So is that the final answer? I have one I'd like to use so I can be done with it which isn't fair to customers. Disappointed in Sephora and JCP. I should contact BBB and see what they say.

I'm so sorry Sephora inside JCPenney Gift Cards cannot be accepted on Sephora.com or at our freestanding Sephora stores! If your local Sephora inside JCPenney store has closed, I recommend reaching out to JCPenney directly to provide you with your options. I'm sorry for your disappointment!

This is ridiculous! Sephora should be Sephora. This is lying to the consumer.

The SiJCP gift cards are JCPenney gift cards with the Sephora logo printed on them. You should still be able to redeem it on the JCP website or in their stores. Please contact JCPenney directly if you need any assistance with redeeming your gift card.
