Sephora gift cards

I tried to order something from Sephora.com with a gift card and it did not work. It has good amount of money on it and it was purchased (for me as a gift) and Sephora@JCPenney. I googled and was extremely upset to learn that the Sephora gift cards purchased in good faith are not eligible.

So Sephora ended the JC Penney partnership and just decided that the gift card purchasers would lose their money?

Where did the money go?

@KTav85 , you can use SiJCP gift cards at JCP. Not at Sephora.com or any Sephora stores. Sephora ended their partnership with JCP years ago.

Yes, that's correct @KTav85! These are JCPenney gift cards and can be used on JCPenney merchandise.
