Sephora email to join text for 10% off next purchase

hi I received an sephora email encouraging me to sign up for sephora text to get 10% off my next purchase. I joined by entering my phone# and replied to the text as well. I assumed it would automatically apply the 10% at checkout since I did not receive any special instructions or a promo code. However I’m at checkout now and there’s no mentions of how to apply the 10% off neither is the 10% applied to my purchase. How can I use the 10% discount on this order thanks
