Sephora credit card

Disgruntled 

Don’t get the Sephora credit card.  They are liars. I paid off my Sephora card in its entirety knowing that I had a big purchase coming up. I had waited many days and the payment came out of my bank account. I went into the store to make my purchase and get the extra points and the card was declined. I had to use my ulta card which I paid off at the same time. I was so embarrassed and the salesperson stated that it happens with the Sephora cards all the time. I called customer service and they stated that they could see my payments and I had a ton of available credit, but there was nothing they could do about the points as I used my ulta card. I have half a mind to return what I can and repurchase at ulta so I can get my points. The moral of the story is that they do not want to honor big purchases with the points agreement. It would have saved me over $20 on future purchases. It’s so annoying. Just don’t get the card.
