Sephora credit card

I know I am not alone here. I applied for the Sephora credit card, and was immediately approved. As I am trying to make my first purchase with the credit card discount, I am receiving an error message. I contacted Sephora, and they told me to contact the bank. I contacted the bank and they told me to contact Sephora. This is absolutely absurd. I didn’t even get an email from the bank confirming that I had been approved for the credit card. When I asked when the physical card would get to me, I was told it could be seven business days and it could be 14 business days. I’ve never had so many ambiguous answers in one customer service effort.

Same here. Comenity says it’s Sephora’s fault and routed me to their customer service. Comenity said sorry wait for your card to arrive in the mail. Sephora said they can’t help me and to contact Comenity LOL I’m reporting Comentity to the Federal Trade Commission and attaching screen shots  of all the complaints about this credit card and being lied to about the temporary card.

Commentity bank is the worst!  I cannot figure out how to pay my bill either.  Reps at the store made it sound like it was super easy just to activate my card I had to fight with a representative for 20 minutes about how I don’t want to pay for insurance on my card.  Tried tog eat them to help me make a payment and they would only talk about charging me for insurance.  So infuriating!

Horrible service! I never got the first card they sent a second card and said I cannot use it because I said it was lost. I ended up buying Sephora with my KOHLS card. I was trying to place a $300 dollar order too.

Hi @AXS119 I'm so sorry for the trouble you're having using your temporary credit card! When placing an order with your temporary card, the shipping address must match the billing address on the Sephora Credit Card application. Otherwise, you will need to wait for the physical card with CVV to arrive in the mail. If the shipping matches your billing and you're still unable to place your order, I recommend waiting for your physical card to arrive to place your order. This may take up to 10 business days to arrive. I understand this is frustrating and I sincerely apologize for this experience!

The addresses match exactly. I’ve had the bank and Sephora confirm. There is an entire blog on your company website of people having the issue with the temp card, clearly it’s not an isolated issue.

Yes everything matched with me also. I am a very detailed Virgo shopper. The credit card nightmare goes on and on.
