Sephora credit card not working

my last sephora credit card expired and I received the new one. I activate the card two days ago and then proceeded to attempt to make a purchase. my purchase will not go through whether I use the app or purchase directly from the website. 

I keep getting the same error. (see photo below).

I have redownloaded the app and cleared my cache. I really don’t know what’s goin on.
