Sephora birthday gift set

I feel like this is biased for people whose birthdays are in December and Sephora runs out on their birthday sets.4 years with Sephora,always had problem with collecting birthday sets and never got an opportunity to choose one which I like! 
last year they ran out of the bday sets and was offering points,which I was not interested in,and they advised if i don’t like it once the bday set are here on January come and grab it 

once I was there they told me it will be considered as ur bday gift for 2024 not 2023 I mean guys what’s up with u?! This is very inconvenient!
