Sephora and Gift Card Fraud

My SO bought me a gift card on 6/22/24 for my birthday, and my card was compromised online 6/24/24. I tried to use the card for the first time on 6/27/24 and was told there was a zero dollar balance and to contact the store I bought it at. I have been in touch with the store that issued the card many times and called the Sephora gift card support line; they do not offer any support. Both the Sephora at kohls and the gift card support people are telling me to call each other and I am at my wits end. I’ve shopped at Sephora for years, I’ve always asked for gift cards from Sephora on holidays and bought others gift from there. Customer loyalty and integrity is obviously not at the forefront of their operations and it shows. @sephoracustomerservice

This interaction did absolutely nothing for me and I am in the same position but I will never request or buy Sephora gift cards as gifts and suggest no consumer does. I will do my best to advise that no one buys them, so they don’t end up empty handed. Now to have someone else reject charges from there bank institution and I will probably still end up without a thing. Thanks for nothing Sephora.
