Sephora Play old box sold to me

I ordered one of the past Sephora Play boxes for sale in the store a couple of weeks ago. I just picked up my package from my postal box and discovered that the box I was sold is OVER A YEAR OLD. Its from July 2017. It didn't say that on the store listing, and now that listing has been deleted from the Sephora site.

What does this mean for the quality of the products contained within? And what about the 50 points card included in the box, can I still redeem that even though it says it expired August 2017?
