Sephora Gift Card not working for online purchase!

I just received a Sephora Gift Card. Upon checking out and entering the 16-digit number and PIN, I got an error code stating the card was invalid. I called Sephora Customer Service, and they said it is, in fact, active with a balance of $50. They do not know why it's not working and recommended I make the purchase in person. This is frustrating and annoying. I will never purchase a Sephora gift card for anyone in the future, as I see many gift card holders experiencing the same problem. If anyone knows how this issue can be resolved for online purchases, please let me know.

Hey!

I just got a gift card for my birthday and I checked the balance over a week ago saying it had $25 but now it is saying that it’s invalid.

@dheethya oh no! It looks like your private messages are currently turned off. I also received a gift card and it says invalid when I try to check balance online.
