Sephora Gift Card Scam

3 days ago I received a gift card for $100 from a friend. Went to Sephora on Sunday 02/25 to find out the gift card is empty. I didn’t had the receipt at that time and went home to find out that the number on the card does not match the number on the receipt. I got in contact with Sephora customer service and as per usual was told to call someone else-the gift card issuer Cash Star… I understand in a way why they would think the issuer is the problem here, but the card was purchased from Sephora store in Hyannis, MA.. a person “swiped the card” in order to put the $, or typed the numbers. Ladies be aware! I have the gift card, I have the receipt.. and I can’t get the money back… wtf Sephora?
