Sephora Did not send me Code for redeeming 1000 points for $25 in 2019

Sephora never sent a code to me after I patiently waited. The deal to get $25 in exchange for 1000 points is already ridiculously not worth it and yet they failed to send me my code via email. To my surprise, I have seen many other posts here saying they never got a code either!!!

 

I got this offer back in Dec 2019.  Recently, i saw insider posts saying they had terminated this promotion back in September 2019. So, my question is, why did they make this offer available in December when it was already terminated in September???? 

 

I called customer service (they are the rudest customer service I have EVER received!!!!) , they told me even if I did not receive the code, it would already been well expired because I should've called within 24 hours that I do not receive it. AND he told me that, all of us Sephora beauty insiders/ VIB / VIB Rouge agreed to a policy stated on the Sephora website that it is our responsibility to claim the offer within given amount of time. Once the reward expires, it is out fault we didn't claim it.  I asked for an email copy proof whether the code was sent, and the customer service was not able to answer this question. IF I NEVER GOT THE CODE, HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO CLAIM IT? Well, he basically said that's my problem and not theirs. They cannot do anything about it. I spent a lot of money to stay as VIB Rouge for years and they have taken away my 1000 points just like that. 

 

Till this day, I have no answers on what they have done with the code that was supposed to be sent to me but my 1000 points were definitely gone.
