Sephora Declining Returns

I was denied returning any items despite being a rouge member and spending a ridiculous amount of money at Sephora. 

I stick to ordering online since COVID-19 and even now because I travel and don’t want to go in the store. It makes it hard being able to decide shades online so I end up keeping some items and returning some. 

On multiple occasions when I purchased in store and didn’t look at the item in the box it ended up being the wrongs item (fenty lipgloss wrong color inside the box). When I returned in store the Sephora employee told me someone must’ve returned the wrong color. Why are the returned items being put back on the shelf? This is precisely why I order online. This should be illegal. 


Sephora has an unlimited return policy which I did not abuse. They need to take into account giving customers a warning or explaining this policy rather than keeping it hidden so customers aren’t alarmed. 

I don’t understand how such a large corporation can cause an issue and get away with it but when a customer is accused it’s a huge problem.
Sephora has messed up so many of my orders it needs to be looked into. I’ve received other people’s addresses and order summaries in my packages and they didn’t take it seriously nor contact the girl who’s information was sent to me. 

Restocking returned items and sending your customers information without authorization are just examples of some issues I have had. Declining returns? I will never purchase from here again.

I’ve had similar return problems. I ordered online and returned in store a couple of days past the return window. They gave me store credit which is fine since I was going to purchase something else, but they gave me store credit that can only be used in that store! Ridiculous.

@Katk3 I'm sorry to hear about your experience. if your items were purchased online, you can always return them by mail within 60 days of purchase. I will share this feedback with the appropriate department.
