Sephora Credit Card

Hello,

I applied for Sephora Credit Card today because the cashier recommended in a Sephora Store but I noticed that they are using Comenity Bank. My credit score decreased immediately after application!!

 

So, I decided to cancel my credit card application and called the bank to close my account. The bank customer service specialist said my account was closed today but I haven't receive any email or information about cancellation. The sephora store gave me a temporary credit card for my purchase today. However, I don't know my temporary card number.

1) How can I pay for the items I purchased today (because my account is closed)? I have only a temporary account. I don't know what my account number is.

2) How can I make sure if my account closed? I didn't receive any information or email about it.

I already called Comenity bank a few times. The customer service said that I will receive a confirmation email for closing my account and a separate statement for my purchase from Sephora ( so I’ll be able to pay it with my debit card), the problem is I haven’t receive any email or message!!
