Sephora Credit Card Issue in Store

The last 5 times I have gone to a Sephora store and I’ve tried using my Sephora store credit card, I have been told that my temporary credit limit is much lower than my actual limit. When I try to call the credit card customer support, they provide no support in being able to rectify the issue in-store. Has anyone else had this issue? Does anybody know how to fix this? I’m considering closing my credit card because of how frustrated I have been.
