Second Gift Card Fraud Experiencr

My sister recently gifted my daughter a $50 Sephora gift card. The very next day it had $0 balance and she had never even scratched it off. The store refused to help even though we had the receipt and  so did Sephora customer support. I forgot about this horrible experience and continued to shop there. I’ve been a customer for over 20 years. Recently I was given a gift card when I made a return. I just scratched it off and tried to place an online order. It was invalid due to $0 balance. Again, Sephora refused to honor the useless fraudulent card I was provided. They don’t stand by their customers and are very aware of the fraud being done. They make their customers pay for the fraud they are unable to combat. We’ve already lost $80 dollars to this business. I’m so disappointed in Sephora. I never thought of it as such a pathetic company. I preferred Sephora over all stores but now I will make my cosmetic and beauty purchase at Nordstrom and Ulta. I’ll miss Sephora but they don’t  deserve my business or anyone’s in my family and friend circle.
