Scam gift cards

My daughter received 3 gift cards from Sephora as a birthday gift.  Two were $25 and one $50.  It was not used but had $0 balance.  How do we resolve this?  I called Sephora and I got transferred so many times but no one could’ve help me.  That’s $100 total

Hi everyone.  Same situation with us.  Someone gave us a $50 Sephora gift card in September 2023 and we just scratched off the account at the store in December 2023. The store told us there was zero balance. I called the customer service number and they told me the card was used by somebody in Florida. We are in California. As with other customers on this website Sephora refused to take any responsibility and would not help at all.

This just happened to me. Did you receive an answer or do you know if there’s a way to check when/where it was used. Why does this even happen?

This happened to me as well. I was given a $50 gift card for my birthday in November and when I went to use it the cashier said I had $0 balance. I called customer support and they said on the day of my birthday they gift card was loaded with $50 and on that same day the gift card was used. This sounds like internal fraud. I kept being transferred from gift card support to customer support with each party saying they couldn't help me before transferring me back... help!
