Sample issues?

For a little while, I had finally started receiving the samples that I selected when I placed my order. Now for the last 2 orders, in September and October, it is back to receiving random samples again. I really thought Sephora had this thing fixed. Silly me!!! Why would Sephora want to send me samples I might actually be able to use? Because I might actually BUY the full size product!!! This 52 year old with dry skin is not going to use a sample of purifying and mattifying mask and Stay Matte Oil-free Makeup, let alone but either in full size. I know Sephora issues a disclaimer that substitutions can be made, but their methods seem more like madness to me and a waste of marketing opportunities.
