Sample frangrance substitution

While I'm grateful that Sephora gifts us with samples, I'm disappointed that Boy Smells' Woodphoria was substituted with something I could find in just about any department store or Ulta (Gucci's Flora). Was the sample supposed to be only half full?

I love trying out new scents and was really looking forward to sampling something new, especially for my upcoming vacation. I haven't traveled in like 6 years.

It's not easy in a smaller city—the closest Sephora is more than an hour's drive.

@lolamoth I'm sorry to hear this! We do have to make substitutions if the samples you select are unable in the distribution center that is processing your order. I apologize for the disappointment and will share this feedback with the appropriate department.
