Sample Bag Promo Codes Work But Not Received

I shop regularly on Sephora.com and haven’t had any issues with using a promo code but not receiving the item associated with it. My last two orders, I’ve used a sample bag promo code and they never came with my order. The first time i thought well,  maybe i just didn’t select the bag properly (...but considering my regular use of their site...). My next order shortly after, however, I know I selected and had it in my order. Both of my orders don’t show the sample bag as a part of them so I feel like I’m going crazy!  Why are the sample bags not being included with orders if they’re advertised as a promo on the website with no indicator they’re not available nor notification they wouldn’t be coming.

They might of ran out of it. I always try to add on a promo every time I shop online. And sometimes they offer stuff and then the codes doesn’t go thru and you have to pick a different thing all together. But you should call them and let them what happened they might be able to get you one bag of you ask.

Thanks for your reply! I’m guessing that’s what happened - which isn’t a big deal in itself if they ran out. If that’s the case, I just wish the code wouldn’t work at time it was entered so i know up front if they ran out. Usually by time i enter everything and don’t see any errors, I’m ready to hit “order” and get out fast before i do more damage to my bank account ha! So I’ve never considered that the code just wouldn’t be applied at that point after it’s entered and seemingly valid.  I Would rather use a promo code without fear I’m losing out on a fun addition in my order that i get excited about.
