Same Day Delivery Not Delivered! Shame!

I ordered over $250 worth of skincare and makeup items from Sephora. I was going out to dinner with my husband and wanted to use some of the products that night so I ordered Same Day Delivery and paid the $6.95 fee. 
I received a notification saying that my order was on its way and that “Daniella” was delivering it and would be there in approximately 35 minutes. After about 20 minutes I then received another notification saying that my order was delivered. 
I was standing by the door waiting for it, but I never saw a car pull into my driveway. I opened the door and checked but NO Sephora package. I even walked down my street to check the other houses for it and still NO Sephora package. I called the Sephora South Barrington store that fulfilled my order and her response was: Once the order is fulfilled we have nothing else to do with it. She told me that I would have to get on the Uber app and try to find it that way. If that didn’t work, then she said to call the Sephora customer service number. I tried to locate my order on the Uber app and it’s not even listed on my order page. I didn’t even get a picture of my supposedly “delivered order!”

SERIOUSLY SEPHORA?! You are too large of a company to not be able to track same day delivery packages til it reaches its destination. I have been a ROUGE MEMBER for years, which means I am spending (well over) $1,000/year with the company and you mean to tell me you are allowing Uber drivers to just steal members orders like this with no way to track them down? This is insane. DO BETTER!
