Sale Price Refund?

I saw here on the forums that if an item goes on sale very quickly after purchasing it that a refund can be obtained. I purchased an item on the 18th that went on sale by the 27th. Less than 10 days. When I e-mailed asking for a refund for the difference I received this: 


"Unfortunately we do not price match items that were placed on sale. The only price matches we can honor are those with another company."

 

When did Sephora's policy change??

Hi there @Anonymous. I recommend calling us at 1-877-SEPHORA for assistance. Generally speaking we don't do price adjustments, but we'd be happy to look into this.

"Within certain limitations - yes, you can receive the price difference adjustment if the product went on sale very quickly after your purchase....

Curious as to when that policy went away and why.
