SEPHORA modified my order because it was "OUT OF STOCK"

Screen Shot 2017-11-03 at 4.00.31 PM.pngI placed an order for 3 play! by sephora boxes as presents to my friends in China. It is only available online. I placed this order Oct 27th.  I actually called the customer service 30 mins after I placed the order cuz i want to modify the order but they told me it had been processed and should ship out soon. However, today I received an email saying an item was cancelled because it's out of stock. I have been a royal customer of Sephora but this shopping experience just made me think about turning to another retailer. That is so disappointing.
