SEPHORA TRIED TO SCAM ME - TERRIBLE SERVICE

During Sephora's beauty event where everything was 20% if you were a rouge member, I spent nearly $1000 ALONE. I made an online purchase on September 4th but forgot to include my apartment number (which was my fault) so they had to ship their order back to sephora. I had to replace the order again so when I did that, they charged me AGAIN on September 19. I waited 2 weeks to see if I would get a refund for the first order that didn't go through. They sent me an email that clearly stated that it will take up to 7 business days for the refund to go through. After the 7 business days, it still did not go through so I called customer service. She was super rude about it and told me that it takes 10 business days for a refund. So I waited ANOTHER 3 business days and still nothing. I called them AGAIN, and they told me that the refund has already gone back to my account on September 18??? and told me that it was no longer their responsibility and it was up to my bank. After waiting 30 minutes on call with my bank they told me that it does not show any refund transaction so I had to launch an investigation. I called sephora again to let them know and NOT UNTIL AFTER all that time did they finally look into it, they told me that I was right. The refund did not go through because they forgot to approve it and that I have to wait another 7-10 business days. THANK YOU SEPHORA. Not only does your point/rewards system suck compared to other beauty stores, your customer service is the worst. I will be returning everything I bought during the event because I no longer want to support Sephora when I'm spending all my money there just for them to try and scam me.

I can not believe this company! My Fiance was scammed into purchasing an exuberant amount of gift cards from your Pleasanton office in the stoneridge Mall! Why did your staff not figure out something was up! you took so much gift cards purchases in cash while she was on her phone. If you see someone with headphone in their ear and is asking purchase 1000+ dollars in gift cards ask them one simple question " are your talking to someone who is claiming to be lawn enforcement or of the IRS" it may be what causes them to break down so you can prevent them from emptying their bank account. You NEED TO CHANGE YOUR GIFT CARD POLICY TO PREVENT THEFT AND TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES BETTER!!!!!
