SEPHORA GIFTCARD - WALGREENS 50$ - $0 BALANCE

I am absolutely FURIOUS ! I been a member of Sephora for a decade or more.  I stopped at the Walgreens by my home that I frequent at.  I grabbed a 50$ Sephora card, I almost bought Ulta.  My daughter's 23rd birthday, she is studying to be a Vet. so she never dolls up much, hence I surprised her with an extra gift which was the gift card.  She goes to Sephora to use it and the numbers are basically scratched off and there was a $0 balance.  She was so upset, she had to pay out of her own pocket !! Not that I didn't reimburse her, but now I am out of 100$.  My mother just told me there is a scam going around with gift cards at all the Walgreens, be careful.  lil too late, but she said exactly that.  I head to the Walgreens where I purchased it. They said I had to call the number on the back of the gift card.  I call Sephora, waste of time. Two phone numbers and two departments later and they can't do anything ?? like I was talking Alien to them.  This is a known global issue.  Why isn't Sephora working with Walgreens to help our their customer if it's only the ones being sold in Walgreens or a couple of chain stores.  Why isn't Sephora recalling all their damn gift cards.  Your a billion dollar company and this is how you treat your customers ? What is the point of the getting the receipt that I paid for it ?? I will blast them all over, not one person helped me.  Sephora get your act together ! So basically, sorry Ma'am, I can't do anything. Wait till I go in the store this week.  Why do I have to be out of $100 ?? @sephora I am appalled & outraged. I don't care if its only $50, it is the way they are treating their customers and he run around is just laughable !!

I AM SO GLAD YOU POSTED THAT. I BOUGHT 2 $50 GIFT CARDS AND SENT THEM TO MY GRANDAUGHTERS IN COLORADO. COME TO FIND OUT BOTH ARE EMPTY. I HAVE BEEN ON THE SAME RIDICULOUS PATH WITH MY BANK CHASE BY THE WAY WHO DID NOTHING, WALGREENS DID NOTHING AFTER I FILED A CASE AND GAVE THEM COPIES OF RECEIPT AND FRONT AND BACK OF BOTH GIFT CARDS, OR SEPHORA WHO BASICALLY BLEW ME OFF SAYING THEY CONSIDER THEM TO BE CASH. THEY JUST CONTINUED TO READ THE SCRIPT. I PLAN ON FILING WITH BBB. I WILL CONTINUE TO FIGHT THIS. I CALLED 7 ON YOU SIDE AS WELL. SEPHORA SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THERE LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. AT THE VERY LEAST THE SHOULD NOT SELL TO WALGREENS.
