Rouge-Return Ban?

Upon being completely taken aback and embarrassed in store with a line of people behind me, I searched online to see what was happening and it looks like others are in the same boat. I am a VIB Rogue member and have been for a while. I spend about $3,000 a year at Sephora. For example, during this year’s sale I had several different orders, ranging each from $1500, $800, $200 etc. I have never had issues with returns in the 10 years I’ve been a customer. Now, I go to return the Dyson Airwrap because it doesn’t work. The sales rep just handed me a receipt treating me like a criminal and loudly said he couldn’t “let me” return this because I’m suspected of abusing the return policy. What? Who does he think he is? I have always returned with a receipt as they are able to locate my account when I put in my phone number. Now I am out $500+. Where do I take my Dyson when it doesn’t work we’ll have two uses? Ulta is next door and so is Nordstrom. Sephora just lost my business.

Same thing happened to me!

it was soooo embarrassing, the employees were mumbling under their breath and looking down at me,

Then the manager approached me and started talking to me in a very condescending way, telling me he cannot exchange my tinted moisturizer ( I didn’t have my glasses on me when I bought it,so I asked an employee for the shade and he gave me the wrong one, that’s why I needed to exchange it)

I’ve also been a VIB Rouge for years and have spent insane amounts at Sephora!

Shame on them!
