Ridiculous customer service

So I purchased a dior foundation that was sold out for a few weeks online and in Stores near me. When I finally was able to purchase the foundation, the tracking gave me an estimated 5 days for it to be delivered. I made the order on 8/16 and just received my order yesterday 9/3 ( not going to fault Sephora for that because I know the postal service has been a mess right now) HOWEVER, when I opened the package it didn’t even have the one product I purchased. How do you even screw up that badly to just put the receipt label inside without the actual product the receipt shows I paid for?! So I reached out to customer service and they said they would reship it and that I would receive free samples with it. So apparently to right this wrong they will send me free samples that come with every online purchase anyway, not apologize for the inconvenience or give any type of explanation... WOW )... It was very unprofessional to just assume I wanted it reshipped, considering how long it is going to take AGAIN to receive it. After I stated it was a gift and time was of the essence, they refunded my order instead of offering me the fastest shipping they had. They completely washed their hands of this issue. Completely unacceptable handling of a long time customer and insider....I will take my business elsewhere from now on.
