Sephora is not telling people that they are cracking down on returns and banning loyal customers by using a contacted company called retail equation which blacklists you based on return activity randomly. Super shady! Im a VIB and spend hundreds monthly there but because of covid I had to return a few times to find the correct shade since they still haven’t figured out how to manage samples. I was declined my last return and asked to deal with a company called retail equation. They did nothing for me and put the blame back on Sephora. I don’t return excessively and they told me it wasn’t just me- so apparently they just pick people at random to tell they can’t return anything for 1 year! I feel like I’m being treated like a criminal, it’s embarrassing and downright mean and dishonest. Sephora employees encourage you to buy multiple color shades and return and when you do, they ban you and there is nothing they will do. I’m disgusted and regret every purchase made here. Buyer beware, it’s a secretive crackdown because they are too shady to clearly state their return standards. Sephora is in a lawsuit over this too. So glad. Go to Ulta, where they appreciate your business. Sephora sucks!

same thing happened to me and i’m a rogue. i spent thousands at sephora for the past years and years… terrible way to treat customers.
