Returns during Covid 19

Hi, so I recently purchased a whole new set of makeup. Foundation, bronzer, setting spray, palette, all that. I've never had to shade pick before so I got some help from the advisors at the Sephora store. Unfortunately, both times I bought items, most weren't a match. Im a woman of color (african american) and it's hard to get the right shade. Wrong undertones, complexions much too light, etc. I had to return them each time. It's been hard to find an accurate match since the new policy does not allow in store testing and pouring samples. Lately I've decided to do research myself and it's been easier since I'm a bit more familiar with my complexion. I have been able to get some items that are fantastic however I'm still not quite there yet. The issue is though, I'm afraid that my frequent returning might be an issue. No one has said anything to me but I don't want it to seem like I'm abusing the system. All I really want is just to find a shade that matches! If only I could try it, but it's hard knowing what works. I'm wondering if I'll get in trouble for trying to find the right shade for the 3rd time now.

I'm so sorry to hear about this! I understand trying to figure out your shade during this time may be a bit difficult. Have you tried using our Foundation Shade Finder? https://www.sephora.com/beauty/foundation-shade-finder I may suggest using this to find your closest foundation match! Additionally, there shouldn't be any issues returning or exchanging your foundation for a third time if you have your receipt available and it is returned within our return policy timeframe.
