Returned items not scanned by USPS

I sent a package via usps for return over 10 days ago. The package shows as not scanned by usps, when I called them they were of no help and said package is possibly scanned but not updated. 
 

I am concerned that my return is lost and this would impact my refund. I have previously returned via mail without any issues!! Please help 

what can I do about this situation?
