Return with no receipt

Hi!
I recently bought a foundation using a gift card and was color matched by an employee and the colour is way too light for my preference. I don't have the receipt (hopefully I can find the original packaging for the foundation) and I simply want to exchange the foundation for the same product in a different colour. Would this be possible? Or am I stuck with a $52.00 foundation I can't use 😞

If you purchase with your beauty insider, the store can check your purchase history and the item should be listed.

"Returns without a receipt or that cannot otherwise be verified, will require a valid government issued photo ID that will be swiped, scanned or manually recorded at the time of the return.
