Return a sealed perfume

i ordered a dior sauvage perfume online. I had to send it as a gift to my husband living in another country. My friend was leaving so she would have taken it along. The delivery took long that my friend already left the country. Perfume is sealed, i did not even open it because its of no use to me. Its sealed packed. I want to return it. I have been trying to reach sephora through phone calls and emails but they aint responding. 
can anyone tell me if I send it back through mail or if i go and return it at shop, i will get my refund? It was sephora.com order. I am looking forward to receiving my refund to orginal mode of payment.   Its only been 4 days since it has delivered
