Return Troubles

So I did a return on a brand new full product, it was newly released Caudalie sunscreen and it was separated and icky upon arrival, even after shaking it. I shipped it back via FedEx store, which was the recommended return method, and sephora refused to refund me claiming that the product they received “isn’t a sephora carried product”. So either they’re bs-ing me or FedEx put the return label on someone else’s box? I went through several tiers of customer service and no one would help. So now the product is gone, I can’t attempt to return it again, and I get no refund, store credit, nothing. So frustrated and disappointed, I’ve been shopping Sephora religiously for over a decade and all I got was a “sorry oh well” and a promise of a call back from a manager (a callback that never came). 

Update: within a couple of hours of posting this someone reached out based on this and I was credited. If you’re having return issues stay on them!!! Hopefully they’ll get this unfair practice under control ❤️
