Redeeming old scent certificate

Hi! I found an old unredeemed scent certificate while moving a couple of months ago. I tried to go in store to see what I could redeem it for and it turned a lot more complicated and I was unable to redeem it. I kept going back and trying to find one of the scents that were on the certificate only to find they were no longer sold at Sephora, the scent was discontinued, or the scent was still available but under a different SKU. After going back and forth several times, waiting in line several times and then feeling awkward because I was holding up the line for other people behind me while the cashier struggled to help me, I finally left without redeeming. Am I out of luck?  This certificate is probably from 2016-2018, but it does say it never expires it just seems most (if not all?) Of the scents are no longer available. Thanks for any help!

Hi @aly1236,

I'm sorry, the certificates don't expire but we do always recommend redeeming them as soon as possible, in case any of the fragrances become unavailable. I'll send you a message for more information shortly.
