Recent cancelled order

Hello CS beauties, I have a quick question. So I placed an order a few days ago (Wed, Jan 31), 2 of my items shipped out within hours from the Salt Lake Warehouse. (They always do a fantastic job! I wish all my items would ship from there.) But this morning the rest of the order was cancelled including the VIB GWP and samples. The item that was cancelled (the Besame Snow White Translucent powder) and the GWP were the entire reason I placed the order so I'm really disappointed. I kind of thought this item was going to be cancelled because it has been off the website since Christmas. I'm really just wondering why your inventory system/ website had it listed if it was OOS? It seems like this is a common issue on your site and it makes me think twice about ordering things that randomly appear or disappear. I really appreciate any insight you can offer. I also had another order cancelled due to OOS items shortly after I posted this last week. Sadly I missed out on the VIBMUD GWP because Sephora cancelled my orders and it's now OOS. And today my GWP (NOFOMO) was cancelled shortly after I placed my order. Why does your system allow you to pick GWP and products that are OOS?
