Purchased 5 months ago - can I still return?

I purchased online, a fairly expensive foundation. I tried it four times and hated it. I came across the bottle this morning and wondered if I could still return it. I’m going to be visiting a local Sephora for my annual makeover and could return it then.

We have aligned our in-store policy with our Sephora.com policy. If you are not completely satisfied with your Sephora purchases, simply return the merchandise with your receipt and with the original form of payment. We will be glad to credit you in the same form of payment with which your purchase was made when you return your item within 60 days or purchase date. When you return your item after 60 days of purchase date, we offer store credit in the form of a Sephora merchandise credit (in-store only and cannot be used online). so i was told the same about the policy changing on Oct 1st, so i went through all my hauls and decided to bring back anything i hadn't used. well, i missed it by a day and had to take store credit and i was told that the policy is 90days for online and 60days for in-store purchases. i think it's kind of ridiculous to go from one year to 60days but the most annoying thing is that you can't use the credit online! grr.

You would still be able to return it. The new Policy is that before 6 months you will get it back however you paid and after 6 months you get store credit.

I would like to ask, when did this new policy come out? I would like to return something as well but I thought I couldn't past 60 days. if this is true, then I would be sooo happy right now ☺😊
