Product price difference between online, app, and brand store

Here are two photos - both have the exact same products in the basket - one is from the app (the one at the higher price) and the other is from the website. That is a whole $60 dollar difference. Not only that, but the prices on the website align with the prices on the brand sites for those products. Why is there a price difference and how long has that been going on? 
The best part is that I was not in my account when using the Sephora website and as soon as I logged in to my account the prices changed to the higher price…is there a reason we are being charged more than what the brands charge for the products themselves? Is this a glitch or mistake in the system that has not been addressed? I saw on some other threads that the prices in the store are also different and I will probably stop by a store to look at these brands and see if they align with the product price or app price. 
I love Sephora and enjoy shopping here - I will just need to be more conscious of how I shop (as in double checking prices from brand websites with Sephora prices and so on), but this is something that should be addressed. Because that $60 dollars is easily another product or some money saved when needed.

@bokehgirl Sorry for the confusion! It looks like your app is on our Canadian site. You can update the region by going to your profile and selecting app settings.

Thank you so much. I have no idea how it switched to Canadian but that definitely fixed the problem. Then again my phone sometimes thinks I’m in North Carolina or halfway across the world so maybe that did something during an update or so. Thank you again!
