Product broke in box

I got my Sk2 essence in store on jan 23, when I got home and opened it it was completely cracked and the glass cut my skin when I open the box to take it out. The store should not be selling broken products and making it the customer’s fault when they come in store to return! I went to the store to return it, but they said to contact Sephora directly. I will be filing for a dispute if this is not resolved by the end of this week. Thanks.
