Product boxes always opened and 0 samples

What is going on Sephora? Every time I place an order my product box is opened. Sometimes the items are even free floating around in the box. On top of that 0 samples. why even let us get our hopes up to select them when we don't get them? I rely on samples to decided if I want to purchase a new product or not. Very disappointed.
